MEMBERSHIP DRIVE

It is once again time for our Annual Membership Drive.   You can renew your current membership by sending your annual dues in the amount of $40.00 (payable to “Auburn Meadows Homeowner’s Association”) to Dave Frazier @10809 Meadow Lane.  If you have not belonged in the past, please consider becoming a member this year.

COMMUNITY WEBSITE

We are very excited about developing our new community website!  We will currently be placing the Meadowlark on the site in addition to the Meadowlark being delivered to the homes.  The website will have a name and other information such as announcements, etc., can be placed on it.  For now, www.AssociationCommunication.com/auburn.html is the way to access the website if you want to check it out.

NEIGHBORHOOD PROJECTS

Two of the new projects to be taken up this year include establishing new street signs and researching the history of our area that will then be placed on a plaque in the neighborhood. If you are interested in serving on a committee, please contact Cathy Herold at 440-708-2553.

DRIVEWAYS

Are you considering putting in a new driveway this year?  If you are thinking about an asphalt driveway, please call John Ferguson @543-8377.  We can usually get a less expensive price if more than one household has it done on the same day.

NEW NEIGHBORS

Please welcome Steve and Vickie Mesec, 17074 Curry Lane, who moved here from Bainbridge.  They picked the Meadows because it is a quiet neighborhood and because the lots are large.  They have a brand new addition to the household…a baby girl named Keeley, born on April 23!

Steve works in sales for W. F. Hann and Sons Co. (heating and cooling).  His hobbies include riding motorcycles, snowmobiling, jet skiing, and ATVs.  Vickie works in Graduate Placement at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and is looking forward to taking care of the new little one.

BLOCK PARTY

We need someone to host our annual block party this year.  We also need volunteers to work at the party.  If anyone is interested in helping or hosting, please call John Barto @543-5549 or John Hegedus @543-6118.

ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES

The Meadows currently have three companies picking up the trash.  If enough people are interested in receiving a discounted rate to go with one or two companies, we will pursue this matter.  Please call John Hegedus @543-6118, if interested.

ANNUAL GARAGE SALE

If anyone is interested in participating in the Annual Community Garage Sale, please contact Carol Ferguson @543-8377 by June 1.  We must have at least six homes involved in order to call it a community sale.

2007 GRADUATES

Congratulations to the following high school graduates!  Hope you have a nice summer.

COLLEGE GRADUATES

Congratuations Lila Visdos! Lila graduated Summa Cum Laude from Walsh College in May.  She also received special recognition for being an outstanding senior in her major of Early Childhood Education.

UPCOMING WEDDINGS

Scott Davis (son of Carol Ferguson) and Colleen Murphy will be getting married in May at the Grand Pacific Wedding Chapel in Olmsted Falls.  They will enjoy a honeymoon in Hawaii.  Congratulations Scott and Colleen!

Lila Visdos (daughter of Jim and Julie Visdos) and Jeremy Napier plan to marry in Destin, Florida, in June.  Congratulations Lila and Jeremy!

CREIGHTON LANE CUL-DE-SAC

The south Creighton Lane cul-de-sac is shaping up quite nicely.  The residents around the cul-de-sac area have been working very hard.  Great job!

2007 HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION BOARD MEMBERS

Board meetings begin at 7:30 pm on the 2^nd Monday of each month and are open to all homeowners.  If you plan to attend any of the meetings, please contact the host.  The next meeting is June 11 at the home of Jerome Smith.
